    Dismal.

    Just went in to get apple walnut scrolls and noticed a bunch of small flies within the cabinet.

    I quietly cancelled my order and mentioned to the young worker assisting me that there are flies within the cabinet and pointed them out, and mentioned that they "look like fruit flies".

    An older worker then came over to restock the cabinet, and the younger worker advised the older worker of the flies.

    The response from the older and obviously more senior worker was "and what do you want me to do about it".

    Well I'm not sure: but the correct response, especially with me a customer standing there should have been something like "apologies, let me see what I can do to remove them" or similar.

    Everybody has dramas and stresses in life, but don't make the young workers day miserable and certainly don't make the customer experience poor either.

    That older lady should be spoken too and if her attitude is that poor, she should be let go.

    Today is Friday 22nd April, this occurred at approx. 8:50am. I hope that the business owner sees and actions.

    Very rude staff. Goto the bakery across the road from coles, much better and friendly service!
